Question on Orleans: Roulette Zero's

We visited Orleans last year and saw an interesting bet on the Roulette table. If you bet and won the green 0's and the green 0's hit in the next spin- you were paid 300 to 1. This sounded crazy- as my husband and I always play the 0's and this sounded fun.
We are not dilusional that this would occur but considering we play roulette alot and now will stay 6 nights at the Orleans in mid-June, I was hoping they still have this bet.

My question: if you have gone to the Orleans recently, have you noticed this bet on the table?

Thank you for all you help, and we can not wait until our trip starts on Father's Day- June 17th!!!!
Your chances of hitting a 0 are 1 in 37 and the chance of it hitting twice in a row are 1 in 1369. So the house paying 300 to 1 is easy money for the house.
Thank you dfwgambler for the actual odds, but note we play the zeros all the time, so no loss or change in our game with the large extra odds in our favor.
I was just interested in if Orleans still has this extra odds.

If you hit a number, what are the odds of you winning on your next bet? 1:1369 or 1:37?

In other words, the odds of hitting 0, 0 is the same as hitting 23, 17.

Something about the bet structure is not making sense to me. A player would bet 0 all day long on that table. The player has a huge advantage. I must be thinking wrong. Every time that 0 hits the next bet on 0 has a 1:36 theoretical but is paying at 1:300??

Is this for both 0 and 00? You said "0's".

If so does it mean if either hit, or both hit.

I'll be there in a week, and will report back on this when return.

Thank you Rock'n Rick. I am not sure about the 0's, we were only at Orleans for a few hours and played Craps the entire time. When we were on our way out I saw the Roulette table with the 300 to 1 signage. I wanted to stay but we had to leave for dinner and that was our last night.

I am excited to stay at the Orleans this trip, as we have never been there before. Any information you can give me after your trip would be greatly appreciate.

Good luck and win LOTS of $$$$!!!
Wlpronge, I sent you a PM.

I am familiar with this table. The bet pays for two consecutive 0 or 00 spins. It also pays if the first spin is 0 and the second 00, and vice versa.

It's a mild sucker's bet. You can win 8% more money by simply placing a single wager astride the 0 and 00 and, if the first roll wins, leaving it up in hopes of a second win. And you can do that at any wheel in town.
Don't be so polite! It's more than mild or medium......it's a hot sucker's bet. For the people who don't know odds. The casinos are not idiots - the oddball bets they offer are always heavily in their favor. But people love a good carnival.

The bet is for either of the 0's, so a payoff of $324 to 1 if you bet the winnings from the first bet on an additional bet. So the 300 to 1 is a ripoff. Not exactly surprising.
