A question on a sports ticket.

This past Memorial Day weekend, I made a bet for the yankees to win the AL Championship. Placed it at Terribles and used the 50% MP coupon from the POV.
Yesterday, I took the ticket out and it had faded to the point of barely being readable, and all the bars from the UPC type thing are gone.
If( when) I go to cash this in, do you think it will be a problem?
I've never seen a ticket fade like this before.
It's possible to claim a winning sports bet ticket in nevada without even having the physical ticket (lost tickets) so you should be ok to cash it with a little damage to the ticket.

Its a big pain in the ass but it is easier if you used your players card when you placed the bet. You have to fill out a lost ticket form. Be prepared to know the day, time, window, anything having to do with when you placed the bet.

The same type of thing happened to me a few years ago when I placed at bet at PH for Ohio State to win the Big 10 and win over 10 games. I kept the ticket in my wallet and by the end of the season, the tickets were very faded to the point where the bar code was very difficult to see (the lettering explaining the bet was a little easier). I mailed the ticket in, somewhat doubtful of getting paid. A few weeks later, I received the check from PH.

From now on, I keep the tickets in a box in a drawer so as not to expose them to sunlight, moisture or anything else.

If you can read the bet, I'd assume you are going to be OK.
What a novel idea - printing sports bet tickets with disappearing ink. Apparently the sports books can't afford or won't use indelible ink and bonded paper for their tickets.

I've had this problem too. I think there is a number and letter code on the ticket also, that the clerk was able to enter and then pay me. I've learned to not keep tickets in my wallet for very long. If it is going to be multiple weeks, I stash it in a drawer where I wont forget it.

I'm curious. What did I do to get removed from your ignore list, or was your whole list just your usual nonsense?
