They can request to get placed in PC(protective custody), otherwise it's just plain Ol' GP. If they chose to band together , of course they're allowed to.

DonDiego has a severe allergic reaction to jail cells. He trusts this will get him off of any sentence involving such confinement. Oh, . . . not that he's done anything illegal, . . . yet.

I'm from Texas and I agree that verdict is ridiculous. However, that horrific verdict could happen in any state for a rich little punk like him.
