"All He Does Is Win"

A year ago the Denver Broncos beat a heavily favored Steelers team in the first playoff game with a quarterback that no one respected. This year, being favorites with a $100 million dollar quarterback, Denver lost. Karma for you, John Elway. If you ever get the opportunity in the future, stick with a winner. Throwing pretty passes ain't what it is all about. Winning is. Enjoy your off season.
Are you kidding me? I guess that in your world they would have gone 16-0 with Tebow at QB. That "all he does is win" is ridiculous when it is applied to a single player in a team sport like football that has many players. I promise you that your boy isn't good enough to offset a 35 point (in regulation) performance by Baltimore. You may not understand this but defense is a critical part of the game. He certainly wasn't good enough to get close to the 40+ points that New England produced against Denver last year. I guess the over-obsessed Tebow fans don't acknowledge that result. The people in the NFL know a lot more about this than either you or I and none of them are in a hurry to get Tebow as a QB. He might be able to play another position but he is never going to be a good NFL QB. His inconsistent passes don't cut it with the big leagues. Jacksonville doesn't want him as a QB because they know he stinks.

Trent Dilfer won a SB with the Ravens in 2000 who had one of the greatest defenses of all time. Dan Marino won zero SB's. I would enjoy listening to you explain to me how Dilfer is better than Marino because "All He Does Is Win".

I noticed that you have been quiet during Denver's 11-game win streak but now you happen to chime in after they lose a playoff game. Personally, I like Tebow and I would like for him to succeed but he sucks as a QB by NFL standards.
What a hilarious post. Two years from now, Tim Tebow will be checking out your order at your friendly neighborhood Costco.
I'll say it once more- "All He Does Is Win". I believe that winning is the bottom line in the NFL. Whether you like him as a football player or not, you can not dispute the results of his career everywhere he has been given the chance to play. "Over obsessed"? Funny that anyone should be described as "over obsessed" when being a fan of a person of high moral character who finds a way to win. I find that statement laughable, at best. Whether he ever gets a chance again remains to be seen, you still can't take away the results of his accomplishments. Meanwhile, the highly regarded and betting favorite Broncos will be doing the same thing Tebow will be doing the next few weeks, namely sitting somewhere watching other teams vying for the Super Bowl Championship. As for your comparison of Dilfer and Marino goes, Dilfer has a ring for winning a Super Bowl and Marino does not. That fact speaks for itself. I enjoyed your reply,it has a lot of valid points. It is the standard company line expressed by most of the experts, who ,by the way, are armchair quarterbacks who never played and talking head jocks who love to hear themselves talk.

Back in the day, the NFL refused to take black QB's in the draft. Univ. of Toledo had a black QB by the name of Chuck Ealey. Although this kid had never lost a game since Jr. high, and led Toledo to 3 undefeated seasons, no one wanted him. He winds up in the CFL and although he wasn't perfect, he led his two to two championships his first two years there.
The guy has a career 75 QB rating. Remind us exactly what he's won since college again.

DonDiego would confidently wager against this outcome, . . . and he'd throw in Wal-Mart, Dollar Store, and BJ's.

What a dumb thread.

Don, would you be interested in an avi or sig line bet on what league Tebow will be in next season? I say not the NFL, maybe the CFL.
