Has anyone purchased any good "As seen of TV" products and care to tell about it?
I bought the Magicjack Plus after first seeing it online, TV, and even advertised here on the LVA website. It is worth it and it works fine for the most part (see below). I've cancelled my landline home phone and had that phone number ported over to the Magicjack, however, that was an additional $20 fee which Magicjack doesn't fully disclose upfront but still it was worth it. The Magicjack Plus works off of my router so the computer doesn't have to be constantly on for it to work whereas the previous version of the Magicjack required the computer on to work. Magicjack has all the different features such as call waiting, caller ID, etc. I use the call forwarding feature which automatically forwards incoming calls to my cell phone. They advertise $19 service fee per year (not per month) which comes out to about $1.70 a month. Actually, it's $29 per year for the service unless you sign up for their 5 years of service for $99, which then comes out to $19 a year. Overall, I've had the Magicjack Plus since the beginning of 2012 and it works fine with the exception that a couple outgoing calls that I've made had dropped after a couple of minutes into the call. I suspect my router lost the connection. I'll need to try and connect directly using my computer and see if continues. I used to pay about $40 a month for the landline phone and after 2 months the Magicjack Plus has already paid for itself.
Oh and another good product I bought is Jack Lalane's juicer. It makes fresh squeezed fruit & vegetable juices. This I bought for $99 many years ago and it's still going strong.
