"Ex-Vegas casino dealer, 2 others get prison in cheating case"

Opsie.
Sheer greed. If they hadn't been so greedy, they'd still be doing it today.
I read of a team that took a couple hundred dollars a week from Casino Royale from the late 1970s thru the mid 90s, and were never caught.
It takes a special idiot to be the biggest player and a cheater.
Oceans -3. Never rob the company store in a company town.
There used to be a television series on casino cheating. Some of these people were absolutely brilliant. Most of them got caught, because they were too greedy and they got careless. I think if you have a means of cheating, you want to keep a detailed log of not only when you last visited a casino, but what shift and maybe what management was on. Better to take less and come back another day.

The only guy on the series who never got caught, was a guy who was a magician and could do close up magic with cards. He was able to get a job as a blackjack dealer. He would have different team members play his table and he would see they got winning cards. He finally came out and admitted he did this, but he never got caught.

I don't remember if he got caught or not, probably did, but the guy who made his own dollar slot coins did really well for a long time. His biggest expense was not the metal for the coins but for repeated worn out shocks on his car from hauling all the weight in his trunk.
the casinos are the biggest cheaters.

No kidding. I don't know if you chalk it up to incompetence or dishonesty, but I've seen many mistakes made with payoffs and other events, and most of the time they favor the casino. When they make a mistake in my favor, like paying me off on a lost bet, I let them know, because the karma god will strike down on me.
"......And the camera watches us all." Frank Rosenthal in "Casino".
Greed always does these folks in. If they guys who discovered "the game King" video poker glitch, wouldn't have been so greedy and end up hitting multiple jackpots everytime they went out, They could have worked it for 20 years with no one being the wiser.

They could have spread out the hits timewise, and spread it out casinowise and gotten away with it. Also would have helped if they had some "losing sessions" for the cameras once in a while.

Shocks, HA! That's funny, should've bought a heavier duty vehicle.
