"four to the royal" results

In the last year or so, I've had four to the Royal Flush three times on a 100 play machine. Ended up with 3 out of 300 possibles, so I'm in the 1 out of a 100 range. Got two the first time, none the second and one the third. On regular machines, I've gotten four to the royal about ten times with no Royals. Did get a straight flush once.
I have to agree most of the time when I'm dealt 4 to a RF, I fail to get the card I need. I expect that to
happen when the odds are 1 in 47.

Last weekend I was dealt 4 to a royal (at my local casino)and I got the right card, it does happen.

Now my selective memory tells me I have drawn the royal most often when I need 2 or 3 cards.

Once I held a Qh and the 4 cards filled in very nicely. I have also been dealt the royal 3 times over many years of playing VP - what does all of this mean,?

I have no FN idea ! ! !

2011: 0
2010: 0
2009: 0
2008: 0
2007: 0
2006: 0
2005: 0
2004: 0
2003: 0
2002: 0
2001: 0
2000: 0

You think you can discern a trend here.

Stop holding the 5th card.

Now that's funny!!!!
I had 4 to a royal on a 100 play machine. Only hit 1. The math sucks.

I take an index card with me when I play. I have places on the card where I mark various results. It only takes be a few seconds to pull out the card and place a mark in the proper category. If I played at 1200 h/h that would be 3 seconds per hand. Therefore, each mark would lower my play by 3-4 h/h at most. Not significant.

Of course, I rarely try to play this fast. I play VP for entertainment as well as profit.

I was dealt 4 to the royal on a 100 play and hit NONE!
I've probably hit 1 in about 150. Most of the very few Royals I've hit have been holding 2 or 3 to the RF.
Slapinfunk says I should start believing in the math... and on my next trip I will hit two royals and make up for lack of a royal in 53,351 previous hands. Yeah, sure.
This year I hit 2 RFs in my first 24K hands. Since then I have hit none in 60K hands. So, my current streak of hands without a RF is longer than money's. Just shows that over any short term time the numbers will vary quite a bit.
I've only one hit in my VP career where I drew 4-to-a-royal. Bellagio .25 progressive. ($1178)
That said I rarely draw 4-to-a royal. In my 5 years of playing VP, I have drawn 4 royal cards less than 10x.
