the "good" VP hands when you don't need them.

It is the worst feeling in the world being dealt 4awak on a JoB machine... Its happened to me a few times.... But! Think of all the extra plays you get for getting paid double on two pair...

Money, you have been dealt 4awak numerous times playing ddb... But the problem with ddb, when you win you get even. Per our previous discussions off the forum...

joB / bonus are a grind... DDB if you hit, you hit big or get even.

If this wasnt on a progressive with a huge payout for 4awak i would have lost 400 on the day. Instead, left even...

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Is sarcasm really that hard to understand?

However, I do not play three card games on top of cardboard boxes on street corners run by Big Willy.

I also do not buy mortgage backed securities from a few guys in North Miami who I put in jail back in the 1980s.

However, I have bought investments from Merrill and lost more money than I ever lost in a casino. And Merrill never gave me free drinks, show tickets, free meals, or free hotel rooms.

That is a far reach for a rationalization. It doesn't work for me, but you may be trying to convince yourself and not others.
Random I started this thread as an observation that others have also made. I hope the machines are not rigged. I certainly have faith in the gaming industry that are not rigged. I bet my money that they are not rigged but I would not bet my life. It has been said many times that RNGs are not truly random. Frankly I don't know what that means but it is not unwise to have doubts when money is involved.

So, let me get this straight. You trust them enough to risk your money, but you reserve the right to pass along and perpetuate common myths and conspiracy theories. If that is the case, carry on. I may not be in agreement, but at least I understand where you are coming from.

And we all know that groups of people formed around common ideas are NEVER wrong. If there's one thing history has proven...

And the more often you say something, the truer (and more relevant) it becomes...

Money, assume someone created a watch so accurate that it broke every SECOND down into one thousand pieces. Now look at that watch and record which thousandth of a second that hand was pointed at. (Or photograph it with extremely high speed film). Now look at that watch again, and record the thousandth of a second again. What is the relationship between those two records?

What I experienced is no myth. Your results might vary.
My Iowa boat had its usual double points for up to $2000 coin-in yesterday. My practice for this promotion is to first look at dollar 9/5 DDB with progressives on RF, 4As w/k, 4As, Spec 4K w/k, and Spec 4K (but not SF or 5-K 4K). If the progressives aren't satisfactory I settle for two-dollar Illinois Deuces with no progressives. I believe the difference in payback for these games without progressives is about 1.1%.

The 4As w/k was way up...around $2700. But everything else had been leveled off. So the deuce game was several tenths better. So I settled in for 200 hands vs the 400 I would have played on the dollar DDB. And hit 4As w/k!! Would have collected $2700 on DDB. Instead was good for $40.
