The United States Navy "Great Green Fleet" is weighing anchor this week and proceeding into the deep, dark Pacific Ocean for carrier strike force maneuvers.
The fleet, including the aircraft, is fueled by 450,000 gallons of biofuel costing nearly $27/gallon. The elixir is reportedly derived from unicorn tears.
(In 2009 the United States Navy purchased 22,055 gallons of similar fuel and paid approximately $424 per gallon. Apparently that fuel originated from leprechaun nipples, . . . a smaller and more rapidly depleting source.)
As a Navy veteran DonDiego wishes the fleet "Bon Voyage, . . . and happy hunting."
