PJ and company continue to peddle these false facts. According to the IRS the top 1% pay 38% of the federal taxes. This fact has been posted numerous times, but ignored by the liberals since it doesn't fit their narrative.

Yes - its ignored because it has nothing to do with their effective tax rate which you seem to be (purposefully?) obtuse understanding.

And here's my source for my "false fact".
The last time Donald Trump made his taxes public they showed he paid ZERO.

Good luck in November!
"And here's my source for my "false fact". "

Never said that

The falsehood you guys peddle is that the rich don't pay taxes and need to pay their fair share. The truth is that the 1% pay 38% of the federal tax revenue. That sounds like they pay their fair share

"Percent of National Taxes" is not synonymous with "Percent of your income" - even if you really want it to be.

PJ and company also like to peddle the fiction that Americans are walking around barefoot, hungry and living in cardboard boxes (sarcasm) when in reality according to the Census Bureau they are more likely

80 percent of poor households have air conditioning. In 1970, only 36 percent of the entire U.S. population enjoyed air conditioning...
...according to the Heritage Foundation. You know, those same great folks who claim that the Clinton Foundation only gives 10% of their proceeds to charity. And based on their methodology, would also say that the Red Cross does the same.

At this point hoops I'd like to be nice and say that you only repeat the lies you have been told, but that really isn't true either, is it?

Other People's Money!?! Well here's a coinkydink - and a quiz!

Guess which famous "university" thought that putting it on your credit card was a great way to use other people's money:

Poor old DonDiego opines whoever composed the cited sales technique instructions misused the term "Other People's Money"...
No, the original and primary use of "other people's money" predates Thatcher's statement. OPM refers to receiving the benefits of an investment without risking any of one's own money.

It appears DonDiego that your knowledge of finance is a bit limited. Maybe you should enroll in Trump University! Oh wait...

At last, . . . pjstroh and DonDiego agree on something.
n.b. Poor old DonDiego doesn't want it. He does not know what pjstroh wants.
Methinks PJ & his band of Merry Men would want to take from the rich and give to the poor.

You betcha! The first agenda item on my list is making welfare queens like Donald Trump pay the same effective tax rate that i do. I'm pretty brutal, aren't I?
Agreed, but Trump isn't a very good example of the super-rich. I'm with Mark Cuban; I'm skeptical that Trump is a billionaire even one times over.

Perhaps DonDiego was not employing the term "other people's money" in forkush's "original and primary use". Perhaps he was employing it as Prime Minister Thatcher employed it, . . . with regard to Socialist Government's obtaining money from its subjects and transferring it to others, . . . until it's gone and the Government fails.
Perhaps that is why DonDiego referred to Prime Minister Thatcher's quote.

DonDiego respectfully suggests "socialism" has nothing to do with an individual "borrowing money to attend a university".

n.b. For the record nothing in the above should be construed as an endorsement of Trump University, its management, philosophy, instructors, students, finances, or dissolution.
Heritage posted the article but the stats come from the US Census. Is the Census wrong?

68 percent of statistics cited on the net are made up on the spot.
87% of the time the above statement is true.
