As you may have heard Vinnie Favorito's run ended at
Flamingo a short time ago.

My Cousin Vinny?

Apparently he was fired because he had a habit of borrowing money and not paying it back

I always marveled at his memory during his act. Now, I find out he doesn't remember to pay back money he borrowed. Hmmmm

My wife and I found him very funny...and now...
We really enjoyed the Amazing Johnathan...too bad about his health...

I saw Vinnie a couple years ago. He was funny but not nearly as edgy as I anticipated. I think my sense of humor is corrupted after seeing too many roasts on Comedy Central where there are no boundaries of any kind.

We saw Vinnie as one of the three or four acts at Harrah's Improv many years ago, which had not nearly as much of the 'insult' schtick and blue language as in his own shows. We both thought his act that night at the Improv was extraordinarily funny, a cut above all others we'd seen.

As PJ said, after a while you can get kind of immune to the shock value, the edgy insult-type comedy if you watch it often enough.

But I think Vinnie is a very talented comic, and a nice guy, and I hope he lands on his feet.
