Race..really?

So the rodeo clown's in line for a Tony?
Any organization that relies on consumer patronage runs a huge risk by sponcering one of the big political parties in the country...or smearing one of them. Even in a red state like Misouri more than 40% of the fair goers are likely Demorcats and didn't take kindly to the mocking of the current president anymore than Republicans would have enjoyed a similar depiction of George Bush.

For the sake of future revenues, the fair likely realized its probably not a good idea to antagonize and mock 40% of their customers.

If people don't like their choices they can boycott these establishments, bring all kinds of negative publicity onto these establishments, but for goodness sakes, keep the government out of this.
You don't know what you're talking about.

The Missouri State Fair is a creation of state law. It received about $400,000 in state funding this year.

"Keep the government out of this" is about as stupid a statement that a person can make about this.

BTW, anyone remember how the American right reacted to the Dixie Chicks when one of them merely expressed that she was ashamed to be from the same state as President Bush?

What is crazy is how hindsight is 20/20. They turned out to be right on it with their statement.
