Raiders Vegas Stadium Plan Approved

The Raiders may be moving to Las Vegas. Two site choices remain:

1) Near Wild Wild West - just west of New York, New York
2) On the Bali Hai golf course just south of Mandalay Bay

The stadium will be built by yet another tax on tourists who will not go to the games.

Sounds like a big traffic jam

Maybe they will build a monorail

I hope they move there.

I support taxing tourists to pay for it.
I'm not crazy about either of the two locations.
I'd like to see it built in the vicinity of Sam Boyd, off Boulder Highway. Perhaps at the site of the old Silver Bowl. Lots of space there.

I think there can't be a more perfect spot than between Mandalay and south point. Not a fan of any of the other recommends. I wouldn't have problem w the current Sam Boyd location, but the strip location would be in keeping with other cities that the stadiums are in proximity of their city hustle and bustle. More money and foot traffic, which is the point, with limited flow issues as much as can be and we deal with concert and special event flows regularly anyway.

Wonder if they will Charge for Parking ?

Giants charge $40 for general parking, $100 for VIP,limos or RVs. Doubles for playoff games.
Tailgating is a large part of the game experience.

I will enjoy the games even more knowing you , Indy and round helped pay for my seat.
