Rank the casinos

02BnVegas needs to change careers and to become a casino designer... because you came up with what is now the new "rule" for designing casinos. This strategy was actually developed about five years ago and is now being implemented:

"I prefer casinos which do not look like an auditorium, aisles and aisles of back to back machines in rows (Wynn is like that).
I like ones with different rooms, alcoves, hidey-holes, carousels sprinkled among short rows of machines."

Indeed, players like the "intimate feel" of casinos with playing floors that are divided into nooks or intimate sections. The new Cosmo is built this way. There are no long rows and no long, straight walkways. the curves in the walkways add to the intimate feeling of being in a private casino, or close environment.

well done, Candy.

Five years ago, and the appropriate reseach to back up your feeling, and you could have sold that idea for millions.

South Point

Medium
Golden Nugget

Smaller
El Cortez
I will go with Main Street Station because of their beautiful, Victorian-themed casino, low table minimuns and fairly loose slots.

Cosmo and Aria made me feel very comfortable in them. Contain many of the things "moneyla and candy" mention.
Least fave is the Paris, this place needs a redo badly!

Also like Palazzo and M to a little lesser degree.
Trop Express in Laughlin.
Wide aisles, easy to navigate, nice high ceilings, great music.
I'll swim against the stream with others opinions here, but I really like the look of and vibe I get from Planet Hollywood. I like the music, variety of machines and there is a Fat Tuesdays right down the hall on the south side.

Although I have always gotten my ass handed to me when playing craps there, I just like the place.
Western

From their website:

"The Western Casino is a Las Vegas icon and one of downtown Las Vegas' classic casinos.
The inviting atmosphere and friendly great service will have you coming back to enjoy your favorite slots, table games, and keno!"

$1 craps 3 PM-11PM Thursday-Monday
$2 black jack 11 AM-3 AM every day.
Drink specials like Corona bottle $2
A free dinner at the Easy Cafe for every $50 + jackpot.
Rooms start at $15 a night!!!

Thanks, CLV!!!!!!!

Loved Southpoint. The aisles are so wide you could drive a 4x4 through them.
