Rapid craps??

Anyone play it yet at Bill's and do they allow doey-dont ?? I know that some of you play play red-black on rapid roulette to try to boost comps.

found a couple of websites with info:

article with pros and cons

this appears to be the official Rapid Craps website
I have seen somewhere where they have put a stop to the electronic roulette comping . I will try to dig it up. It seemed to good to be true to play a machine for hours and break even. Though you still have the zeros to beat you on the gamble.

I have yet to see an electronic crap table. Nice concept . Good place to learn.
My wife and I got our comp buffets at the Wynn from their electronic roulette game. It's been a few years but I think I put in $100 and bet $35 on both black and red with $2 on each zero. Ended up losing a total of $16 for 2 Wynn buffets.
I poured a lot of money through their VP on that trip as well but have never received any offers since then. They may have black listed me because of the roulette trick. So be it, been there, done that.
Now that's its passed the grade you'll see them all over. This is another way for them to get rid of dealers and cut down on the amount of tips we receive. They hate it when we get tipped because there is no way in the world for them to ever get that money back.

It is the same thing with everything else in this world. Automation. Look what happened to the auto workers. Robots assembling cars.
There has to be live tables . It is where the camaraderie and fun is. Vegas would lose if they went completely electronic. It looks good but will not work at 100%.
Foxwoods has had an electronic craps table for a while.
I hear In and out burger is good for rapid craps, as well as White Castle.

Although I'm sure they'd rather people bet your tips, I think they hate paying your salary more.

There is a single stickman and one assistant running the game at Bills. The game seats 10. All the betting is done on-screen. All the cash-outs are TITO.

I like a couple of things on this game.

1. When someone gets hot, a live game slows way down with all the payouts...Rapid Craps pays out in an instant...and it's always right.
2. You can see exactly how much you're betting in total at any time. Sometimes I get a little ahead of myself and I'm betting $100 on a hand...pressing too much, too soon. It's hard to see on a live game..Rapid Craps displays your total bet and total credits...so you always know exacty where you're at.

I'm not so sure that this is the wave of the future or anything. It reminds me less of the automated roulette and more like the electronic poker tables that were supposed to put the live chips n cards out of business. How'd that work out for Excal?

There is something to be said for handling chips, handling cards, etc.

And just as an aside, much like online vs live poker, this will speed the number of hands/decisions per hour, maybe even double it. With the 1.4% house edge being imposed on every decision, that means more of a -EV from a pure dollars perspective. I've even heard some people say that they seek out slow games specifically for that reason, despite hefty HA's (pai gow, I'm looking at you...)
Don't see "Fire" bets, hop bets, and really really really dislike any casino that has "Big 6/8" on their layout.

Show me "Big 6/8" on a craps layout in a casino, and I'll usually show myself to the exit. There is probably not going to be anything for me there.
