Seems like the other Lake LV hotel is a better deal. Especially no resort fees.

What hotel are you referring to? The Westin?

I had this deal in September of this year.

Pluses: For a little bit more you can request a room over the water.
The hotel used to be the Ritz Carlton. I had a suite and it was gorgeous

Not so great: The welcome cocktails are their own cranberry fufu drink and not a drink of your choice.

There is no formal restaurant. You can use your credit at the bar or for room service.

They pulled all live dealers out of the very small casino and now have blackjack and craps machines with the dealer's face on a monitor.

Yea I saw they took out he live dealers at the tables....bad move in my opinion. I personally like the human interaction at the tables.
