Reaching for the Stars - Chapter 17 (final)

Wow, now I REALLY miss Vegas! I always enjoy your reports. 4 1/2 weeks until we visit!

I'm heading to Laughlin for fast three night visit ($80 free play and a couple of meals along with the room) and will be my last trip of the year. I'm surprised I haven't received a New Year's offer as of yet, they're usually in the mail by now. I check with my host in Laughlin.

I still have a free trip to any Caesars casino in the country (3rd tier Diamond) and am simply unsure when to use it. I'd like to go to Cincinnati because it wasn't open yet on my National Casino Run, so is one of the few I haven't seen. However, it's winter time and I'm not a fan of cold (lived in San Diego all my life). I may have to wait until the very last minute (March 31 deadline). Any thoughts?

You just never know about Midwest weather. That's why Vegas is off our radae from December to March. That being said, it snowed eight inches in Chicago mid March last year. We escaped the night before it hit!

You are always welcome in Kansas City! There is a lot to do here now, with world class museums and concert halls--we even have a 14 story movie screen at one new theater (not close to the Harrah's lol). You should give us a visit! Shannon
