Trent Wilcox pleaded guilty and only received one year in county jail, while Carlos Heredia received two to five years in state prison.

Too little time, especially if there is any type of time off for good behavior.

Can someone remind me or provide a link for a homicide in the Mandy Bay parking garage? It's bugging me now.

I gotta confess I've never tried to rob anyone before ...but I'm thinking maybe a place with a thousand surveillance cameras might not be my first choice for the big heist.

And yet my nephew is serving 3.5 years for dealing pot, go figure.

He should have dealt pot in an elevator.

On these facts, it's hard to say it's too little time (need type of weapon, number of hits, etc.). The guy who held the victim obviously cut a deal.

Cutting deals are usually the way law enforcement gets the more dangerous criminal.

OJ got 33 years and he didn't stab anyone. Oh wait a minute.

I think OJ got the worst deal ever, Thank God.

I was referring to RM's statement that the sentences were light. I think, for example, one hit in the arm with a 2" blade, is worth 2-5. The sentences do seem light, but without more info, one can't be sure.
