If I could get my lazy butt out of bed and off the Internet, I'd walk over to Golden Gate and get a shrimp cocktail or three. Followed by an IPA at Four Queens.

As a new member I appreciate the lack of political threads. It is easy to say to ignore them but when there are a lot of them or a lot of political comments in other threads it makes the site look too political. This could chase off new members. There were comments recently about the decine in activity on these boards. A constant influx of new blood is one way to keep the boards fresh and active.

Ody please keep this thread stuck to the top for at least a month, so you don't have anybody claiming that they never saw the rule.

Should posters who visit boards about things like cooking, sewing, movies, etc., expect to have to go through political threads on them? There are hundreds of political boards out there for people to visit. I like the low key, light hearted intent of this board.

But Forkush, if a branch of the US government isn't political, what is? We want apolitical charts only. Have at it, group.
