renewed my LVA membership

I just renewed my LVA membership which will take me into my 12th year. I up dated my profile and noticed that I have made a total of 726 posts over the years and got to thinking about some of you who have thousand's of posts.......where the hell do you find the time?
I average 63 posts a year, 5.2 posts a month and I chime in about 1.31 times a week but I read most all of your posts until the political posts get out of control and I read all of the trip reports...all of them!
So anyway after pondering all of this I have a couple of questions......
#1 do we know who has the most active posts?
#2 How many people do you have blocked?
#3 how many people do you think have you blocked?
#4 How many trip reports have you written (an LVA requirement if you ask me!)
#5 Have you ever been to a members meet.

5) attended about a dozen. Some had well over a dozen people, some had as few as three.
One epic one started at MSS in the afternoon and ended in a two day coupon run.
Sadly, they are a thing of the past. They declined in popularity and frequency until they are pretty much extinct.

13k posts in 12 years = 3 posts per day for me.
That's somewhat skewed as activity on the paid side has died down considerably the last few years.

Back during the big feuding days on this board there was a guy with over 20k posts in just 2 years - the majority of those were talking smack to other posters =) I don't think he's missed much.

The top 10 posters here are almost all long inactive.....click on 'today' and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Yep, true. LVA was in serious "takeover" by the "kids club" was what we more "mature" posters referred to them. A few of them about posted non-stop. I think a few of them even ended up in relationships together. That was back in the good ole days when this forum was swamped with participants.

It is sad that there are so few posts on the paid side. It used to be the most popular and informative. Now the FFA has more posts, more engaging and entertaining. I don't get wrapped up much in the political quarrels. The terms "liberal" and "right wing nut" (and worse) have no meaning to me other than they seem to be used as insults.

Lots of times an irate poster will inform you that they are putting you on Ignore. The only poster I recall doing this to me is on the Top Ten list.

Ironically the only poster I ever put on Ignore is also on the Top Ten list--although I was just doing it to see what threads looked like with blocked out posts. I reversed the Ignore immediately afterwards.
