renting a scooter or wheelchair in Vegas?

Has anyone rented the electric scooter that dismantles into 4 pieces and can fit in the trunk of a compact car?

My Mom is 94 and will be coming to Vegas with other family. She can walk on her own by not for very far.
She wants to do the Hoover Dam tour and that will be way too much walking without a scooter or wheelchair.
Anyone have any experience with this that my be able to offer some advice?
Check out the LVA home page under transportation. Click on useful info and then handicap guide. That should give you a start.

Spring Break 2000 !!!
Yes, I got one last year. All the rental cos waere about same price, I think las vegas rentals(or something) is where I got it from. Yes, they break down quickly and very easily, takes less than 2 minues from pulling up to trunk loading and hopping in the front seat to do. The only heavy part is the battery, about 40 lbs i think. All the valet guys knew exactly what to do if you go yhat route. It was really super convinient, I called ahead, told them when and where we would be there and there it was whenwe checked in, just left it there when we left, easy peasy.

Oh, and its not as much of a restriction as one might think getting around town, I found pretty easy. I had worried a bit a bout that.

Good luck and enjoy!

BIGLAR73- Never even knew that section was there...lots of info!

John,
Really glad to hear you had a good experience using one. I feel much more relaxed about doing this after reading your post.
Was the scooter comfortable for sitting? Any extra cushions suggested?

It was plenty comfortable for me and I'm skinny as rail(IE No ass whatsoever HAHA). So i would say no cushion needed. And yes, you guys should be very comfortable, you can go and do whatever you want, no restrictions (at least I evrer came across) oh except for any shows, just let them know that you're limited mobility, they'll hook you right up no problem. Don't worry about battery either, I would go most of some days and the battery never got to half.

This is the place I used and got the small one, go go elite. https://www.702scooters.com/
We always rent from Las Vegas Scooters and have had good service. As far as wheelchairs go,a lot of hotels...like the Silverton can supply you with one for FREE! See the bellman for the wheelchair service.
Just curious, on average how much is the rental, per day or week or what ever. My dad who is in his late 70's always says that if he needs to be in a wheel chair he'll stop going to Vegas, from Hawaii. I told him I will rent scooters for him and me and I will join him so he won't have to feel uncomfortable about it.
That is the link for LV scooters. Go go elite is the model scooter. Sorry, I usually think faster than I type and my grammer/syntax sucks.
Thanks for all the info..
I made an online reservation here...https://applescooter.com/LasVegas.asp?Venue=LasVegas
Received a confirmation number.
I also got a personal email the next day re-confirming and asking if I had any questions they could help with.
