A Report From the Monte Lago Grand Opening

Bagiant first off I want to apologize to you for the lapdog comment. I guess I considered you guilty by association of your friendship to Singer and I am sorry for that.

I will say that only being a member of this forum for only a couple of years I was curious that when his named was mentioned it raised the ire of people. Then I did a search on him and went to other forums and I saw why. First I went on his website and I was shocked about how bad he went off on people from LVA.He said bad things about everyone from Frankie Rizzo to Sue Casey and Dan.

Then I saw on Vegasrex how he constantly berates poor Arcimedes and his sick wife. Totally uncalled for and this from a guy who wants people to buy into his system and product. Absolutely insane.

I for one am glad that he is not allowed on here.

I'm not criticizing his rule about quitting while you're ahead. I'll all for it. In many walks of life. I just wish I could get people to pay me to tell them sage gambling advice like "quit while you're ahead". I also have good investment advice - "buy low, sell high". Feel free to send me a share of your profits if you make money using this advice.
Well KayPea, he's not totally crazy with his other thoughts as well. Unfortunately, a few things he's done and a few of his "special plays" have tarnished the entire value of what he offers. In fact, he has a lot of followers for the things he says that do make perfect sense. If you were a gambler you would see some of the value in some of his special plays and in his strategies. But I understand how his personal attacks have hurt him severely and how because of them his value will never be recognized. And that's too bad.

Regarding his "solid advice" the pros will damn him for it, but thats what pros and book authors do. Yet, to the people who play the games with their own money (and not with theoretical dollars) some of his "special plays" are what players do every day of the week. On the other hand, some of his advice is a bit off the wall, and Im the first to concede that.

In the end it is a shame that he got mixed up in a stupid fight saying stupid things.
