There will be no jury as the NFL is not a court of law.

Well then why is there a verdict ?

Thought this thread had to have this thrown in.

Generally the term "verdict" refers to a decision after a trial. Anyone can come to a verdict, however. Rest assured that although Tom Brady is lying, he will not be subjected to a verdict in a court of law because he deflated footballs.

Right now it looks like the Patiots are favored to win the AFC Championship.

Just how do those oddsmakers already know that the Patriots are going to cheat ???

Rick

If one is a cheater (liar), one will always cheat and lie when they believe it will benefit them. Apparently the oddsmakers have come to the same logical conclusion as Boilerman.

I think our NE fans have gone to the Forkush School of "How to be a Clinton Apologist" and have transferred those tactics to defending the Patriots.

I know that NE was using a tactic whereby different people were receivable eligible and the refs were not always informing the defense.

I wonder what else they are pulling and getting away with right now?
Beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard of proof used in criminal case. A civil case uses the more likely than not. The report used that language for that specific reason they believe that burden of proof was met. They don't have to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt they aren't accusing Brady of murder.

That is not "beyond a reasonable doubt", and there is no proof.

I'd hate to have some of you on a jury.
