Report on Downtown Grand $1000 Loss Rebate

Rooms are small, spartan, clean, and comfortable. Noise is the biggest problem even though you are off Fremont St
But they give those rooms away for very little play. Ive stayed there 4 times now and i've only paid once.

I've heard there is a noise problem, due to a Bikers' Bar across the street, and that the Grand itself pipes music around outside their property 24/7. So, I guess go for a high floor, facing the mountains?

If in town for 2 days, I'd do the rebate promo on day one, if you are eligible for it. Must be a new players' card sign-up.

Received another offer today in the mail.

hard to pass that up, if u can find some bargain airfare. if I didn't work a 2nd job on weekends, I would get into trouble with that kind of temptation.

Amen! I had to copy and paste into a word document just to be able to read it. Then to reply I had to shrink my font size down to microscopic in order to get to the reply button.

Sorry, I'm not sure why that is happening. On a side note regarding the 2nd offer that I received, I just wanted to clarify that I had not revisted the Downtown Grand since the 1st redemption back in mid-June and that the 2nd offer was not generated as a result of a subsequent visit (I have yet to redeem my 2nd redemption of $163 in free slot play). My plan is to go back in late September but as vegasdev said they are making it tempting for me to return sooner.

Can you tell me how long did it take you to get the first offer in the mail?

Looks like you did your first rebate redemption in May.

When did you get that first invite to return for the rest?

I was there in July, still nothing yet.

I visited in mid-June (not May). I got the mailer on 7/21/15. Then I got the other mailer on 8/5/15. I have not been back since mid-June.

Okay, thanks for the info. Looks like a month, then, before mailer is sent. I was there mid-July, and we are returning to Vegas early September. I noted on the Terms and Conditions flyer that I picked up from the Grand when we visited that in order to claim the 2nd redemption, players MUST be staying at the Grand if they had been offered the two night comped stay (which you were). So, I was trying to plan ahead, that if I receive a similar mailer like yours, that would require me booking a room at the Grand in order to play my 2nd redemption of $230.
Guess I'll just hope the mailer arrives in a similar time frame as yours did.
