Justin, Kanye, Miley, Bruno...Makes no difference to me. I'm sure I can enjoy good entertainment on some channel during halftime. Maybe an old Futurama rerun?

Although PJ again sounds like Glum from Gulliver's Travels, Boiler is willing to bet that Super Bowl 50 will not be called off due to a mud slide.

I could care less about halftime or the commercials or the 6 hour pregame show or the interviews with 3rd grade teacher of XYZ player or all the other superfluous crap that goes on on SB Sunday. I'm only interested in the game. My wife however likes to watch the commercials so I'm somewhat subjected to those.

Journey sounds great for the half time show. Although I never watch the SB half time shows anyway.

I would like to see Journey with Arnel, but not Perry. I saw/heard some clips of Steve singing a year or two ago, and his pipes are gone. I'd much rather see someone who can sing vs someone who used to sing well. Arnel is good.

He just performed in the 2014 show.

The band Journey is from the San Francisco area and has never performed in a Super Bowl halftime show (although they performed in a pre-game show one year). It would seem that they would be a natural for this venue and they want to do it.

I saw the search for a lead singer where they found Arnel. The kid sounds great and he seems to have his head screwed on right. I'd love to see them in concert with Arnel (most of those 70's and 80's groups don't sound even close to what they were like during "the day").
