Republican Sex Scandals Are So Common That They Are Yawners

Yet another Republican Governor that ran as a “Family Values” candidate and a defender of traditional marriage finds himself embroiled in a sex scandal. He has been caught on tape telling one of his female advisors that he cherishes touching her breasts among other things.

This silver tonged devil, current governor of Alabama and Baptist Minister insists none of this means he is having a sexual relationship with this woman.

For a Republican Sex Scandal to make the front pages now it's got to involve some pretty serious debauchery. Denny Hastert-Like.

Speaking of Denny and Republican debauchery, it was in the news today that another one of his victims has come forward and is going to speak at his sentencing about how the old wrestling coach taught him and few other boys the ins and outs of the rub and tug move.

I think you're 100% correct it is only the right leaning religious loons.

I think its time we get past the whole charade where we pretend like we're surprised or offended by a male politician who cheats on his wife. Its also time for politicians to quit running their campaigns on a platform of being all about "family values". Its pretty clear that people only care when the "other party" engages in it.

This case is only noteworthy because Governor Bently is another bible-toting evangelical that legislates against the gay community on grounds of it being immoral.... all while putting his wrinkled dick into the skank next door. I dont have a problem with Robert Bently/Mark Sanford/Larry Craig's sexcapades on their own merits. I'm more concerned they oppress the freedoms of other people based upon the sermon from their Sunday School teacher (who is probably fucking the alter boy).

Yep, I think the hundreds or thousands of Republicans that have run for office on the "family values" platform are hypocritical and evil. Same goes for the Democrats who have done so. Both of them.

I'm trying to figure out which is worse. Somebody who practices family values and gets caught in a sex scandal or someone who prosecutes people for prostitution, while all along he engaging with prostitutes?

Both are very bad.
