The TRUMP show just isn't amusing anymore say Republicans

Republican leaders in both houses want nothing to do with him and are embarrassed by his rhetoric. Swing State Republican Senators are running for the exit and a fresh conversation has started to find ways of dethroning Trump at the convention... oh dear.

And if that's not bad enough - the PO-WILLS are showing Trump's unfavorable rating has hit an unprecedented level of 70%.

And if that's not bad enough - Trump's incompetent campaign team is fighting, understaffed and has no ground strategy. I thought he was a brilliant business man that knew how to lead....

Dear, oh deary dear. Its starting to look like low energy, Jeb Bush, might have been a better choice.

Trump needs to focus on
1) ISIS
2) terrorism in the US
3) Intl failures on her watch, Russia, China, Libya, Egypt, Iran deal, the TPP deal (that chapter has mysteriously disappeared from her book)
4) obamacare
5) 1% GDP growth
6) low job participation rates

I really thought he was going to announce it was a joke early on. I just travelled across mid America and people are voting for him and anytime anyone takes a shot at him, they are feeding more into his voters as just being nasty politicians cat fighting and silencing America. Oddly, anytime he makes a "stupid" comment. People are just saying he is being honest and not a skilled fast talker. I agree that most of what he says is said without finesse but his point is valid and desperately needed. We desperately need our borders secured, just not for the reason his language states. He is once again doing something Obama is not by talking with the nra on a solution as opposed to just attacking them. Yet Obama will not say there are "radical islams" because that is a blanket statement and causes divisiveness, yet all gun owners are radical to Obama. Everything anyone does against trump makes him more powerful. His goofball words are a character flaw that Americans are already familiar with. People are tired of not being able to use their freedom of speech without being personally attacked for their opinions and called racist for having a thought or opinion of their own. We do not say the pledge of allegiance in schools anymore, teachers and parents are not allowed to "teach" values, discipline, common sense or kindness. They are supposed to teach some stupid method of math that I do not understand at all and am a college graduate. I was not for trump and loved the clintons of the past, but they only lie and change their policy to pander for votes and money. I would have voted for Hillary had she and Bill not turned and supported Obama, but that made it clear that they have no integrity of their own positions and only go to those who have the power to get them what they want. So if it comes down to these two choices, I guess that I see why people are voting for trump. We need a free America back and if making a mockery out of Washington is the only way to get it. That is what people are willing to do. We cannot continue to let this media and political clownery continue. Every other day politicians are having sex scandals and money scandals while saying family values. We have no values and aren't allowed and America is sick of it. We aren't allowed to be Christians and run our home and businesses without government interference, yet foreigners can come into our country without documentation and be here illegally. If a cop or government official asks me questions and to show my innocence I must. Yet, anyone who is not a white, law abiding, Christian does not have to answer to the government at all. Talk about profiling. This is crazy. But keep worrying not about offending everyone else. And we didn't even cover working class issues and freebies or the obamacare mess. Financially and morally our country is bankrupt. I also did not think trump was serious, but he is at least talking about what is in mid Americas mind...albeit with his bizarre goofball personality, but he does seem to care about America from a patriot perspective. That is better than the agenda of anyone else in Washington.

Boiler suggests that Trump also focus on the Clinton agreement with North Korea, which assured us that this rogue country would never possess nuclear weapons.

This last time I checked, this wasn't working out as promised.

I just love threads where a leftist, in this case PJ, tries to tell folks what is going on on the right......as if PJ can even see the middle point politically anymore. I confess I wasn't in the poll that gave Trump an unprecedented disapproval rating of 70%.. but its a real poll with real results. And what's really strange is Trump's photo-op eating a taco hasn't won over latinos who have an 89% disapproval rating for him.

I'm not sure what he's going to talk about now that he cant talk about polls. I guess neither he nor his base thought he might need to.

You can't really think Trump was being serious with the taco picture. I took it as him saying the only good Latino things are their street food.

Street food? The taco bowl/taco salad was invented at Denny's. And he wished a happy Cinco de Mayo to all Hispanics. Cinco de Mayo is to Hispanics as St. Patrick's Day is to Europeans.

Richard Armitage, who served under President George W. Bush, is the latest today to say if Trump is the Republican candidate he will vote for Hillary.

As a lifelong registered Republican with a son named Reagan, I am supposed to parrot Boilerman, Jatki, Drmillled, Hoops, Fritz, and the brigade and say, oh yeah, but what about Hillary? But the reality is Trump is simply not electable.
