Republicans blow a kiss to Isis and shut down Homeland Security

Boy those Republicans are like a terrorist's best friend shutting down the Department of Homeland Security.

Quote

House Republican leaders failed to muster the votes to pass a stopgap measure to fund the Department of Homeland Security for three weeks, leaving the agency in jeopardy of a partial shutdown Friday night.

Story
I think I heard or read that about 95% of DHS is considered vital, so it's not much of a shutdown really.
It's simple. We can do what the Obama Administration wants and try to give Isis jobs.

I think it is 85% and I am sure those employees will be very enthusiastic being forced to work without pay. I suspect a lot of them will quit. The department is not allowed to hire replacement workers for those who quit or simply don't show up as much because they are not being paid.

I agree with madlibber's original post in spirit. DHS has helped eliminate significant US terrorism. Threats and terrorist cells are in great decline. We are far safer now than ever before, according to John Kerry. World terrorism is a waning problem. Lets spend more money to fund DHS instead of wiping those bawstid off the face of the earth.
Why would we worry about ISIS? According to our leader they are simply the "junior varsity team"! I just hope they don't bring on the "starting team". What an idiot.
Republicans are finding it very hard to do the job they were elected to do. Just funding essential services of the government proves to be to big of a challenge for them. Life is hard when their job description goes beyond making up conspiracy theories and attending Koch fundraisers.

i guess we wont be doing any tax reform or any of the other big items from the 2014 election...we should just be thankful if Republicans agree we should pay the salaries of our public servants
Too bad they(congress) couldn't stop paying themselves. But their paycheck is probably a minimal part of their "pay".

That must be the work of the damn democrat obstructionists blocking the will of the majority through their filibuster tactics.
Can we defund the FCC instead?
