requesting update on LINQ hotel and others

Planning a trip in June and I was wondering about these hotels.

I am comparing, The LINQ, Flamingo, Harrahs and Ballys

1. Which has the best rooms ? basically which has the better TV's (will have older person with me and he is not very mobile)

2. Which casino floor has least amount of smoke smell ?

3. Which has the closest elevator - casino - restaurant ratio ? - least walking (best wheelchair accessibility)

I am guessing that the LINQ might be the best option, due to the recent room remodel and re-painting, restaurants etc....
but I have not visited since last year and have not stayed at any of these hotels.

Happy Wednesday.
I've not stayed in these hotels recently, however I did spend considerable time in both Harrah's and The Link last September. I find Harrah's casino very to be suitable to me, although I don't need (and often don't want) the Bellagio. I went to breakfast twice at KGB inside Harrah's. I'm not certain why I went the second time, as they confirmed again that it's not worth the visit.

The Link on the other hand has stepped it up a notch with their latest renovation. This facility is nicer than Harrah's now. As a central Indiana boy that typically pays $3.50 for a stiff vodka tonic, I'm always shocked when I sit down in a casual sports bar type joint at The Link, and realize that I'm paying $16 a drink. Granted, that was for a double but so it my Indiana drink. Oh well, I guess you'll find that anywhere on the strip.

You might want to see what the construction status is on the LINQ. Going from the casino to the hotel was a maze of construction fences on my last trip - it may be better now. I haven't seen the renovated rooms but I do know they didn't change the square footage of the old rooms so you can bet they are on the small side.

The "GO" rooms at Flamingo can frequently be booked under $100 and those have lots of space, updated bedding, and a big tv....and a nice view too.

I forget to mention that Guy Fiori's hamburger joint at the Link is outstanding. It's expensive for a burger, but it's not like any other burger I've head. Special and well worth it.
hey Boilerman...The Region Here.
Anyhow, thank you for the information. I just saw reviews on Yelp and they complained about construction noise. 3 months to finish, i doubt they will be done.
I stayed at Flamingo a long time ago, like when Barbary Coast was around , yeah THAT long ago
Does anyone know if there are free tickets to the auto museum at the linq anywhere?
I stayed at the LINQ in February. It is very wheelchair friendly. The new showers are easy to enter. The rooms are modern and efficient but a bit on the small side. Asking for a handicap room may get you a larger one. On the other hand, the rooms at Bally's are bigger but you will need to look for the ramps on the casino floor to avoid the steps.
