Resort Fees

I have seen it at the D and the Golden Gate. room = $17 resort fee = $20. so all together $37 + tax is not a bad deal, but now doesn't that just look absurd? are the "perks" that I am getting worth more than the room itself? HELL NO! STOP THE MADNESS ALREADY!!

At the golden gate hotel the "resort perks" ARE worth more than the standard room. And there are no resort perks.
I get all of my gambling fix here in Oklahoma. I get room comps on a regular basis. Free buffets. I never pay an ante on the table games. The experience here is not Vegas, no panhandlers here, All 3:2 Blackjack, no 6:5 games, BJ double deck has surrender, double down any two cards, double after split, 6 card Pai Gow with no commission when you win.

I still get offers from one casino in Vegas and when I look at the air fares, car rental, the traffic, the sorry Blackjack rules and the panhandlers. I have all I need right here.
Show of hands. Who here on this forum doesn't know about Resort Fees?

That's what I thought. Thank you for your time.

Teach the resort fee chargers a lesson...

Give your fitness center pass to a homeless person so they can go in and at the least get a nice hot shower or even a workout at the gym.
Just another morning at Travel Rubes R Us.
One can stay at Paris in Las Vegas tonight for $84 plus tax. That's a good deal, especially when one considers that to stay in Brownsburg, IN tonight at the Fairfield Inn will set you back $99 plus tax.

One should note that the Brownsburg rate does not include a resort fee, and the Vegas Paris room does include the $25 resort fee. Which deal is better, Milled?

Boiler quit talking like DonDiego, your threads read silly to me when you do it. He has copyright and you keep trying to do it.

Sorry Boiler, I have to agree with Lion.

Well Resort Fees are here to stay and like rent-a-cars the starting price before they add on all the taxes--recovery fees and the mass other add-ons seem like a good deal turns ugly. I really see no big deal it the cost of doing business. Most times on rental cars start with the base price and by the time the add-ons put on the price is almost double the starting price. It is whatever the traffic will bare is the going rate.
