Resort Fees

Called Caesars today to book rooms at Ballys.Usually get fully comped but reservation for Platinum Player Card Holders as of today the 10th.November will include a $25.00 a day Resort fee.
Anyone that pays a "ripoff resort fee" for a comped room is just ignorant and deserves to be ripped off.
$25 plus tax.
I am also a platinum card holder and have had it with this total reward bull shit. I have just renewed my platnum for 2015 and will give them no more of my money. My comps for Atlantic City where I do most of my play have gone way down since the closing of Showboat. I used to get 2 free buffets a week now I get buy one get one 50% off. Plus the room offers have also gone down. as well as the free play. I hate their new web site, very difficult to use. I will take my money to Tropicana in Atlantic City, they still know how to take care of us low teir players. I will also need to find a new hotel for Vegas. I feel bad for the employees of CET but I wish the company the worst.

Wow, I booked four nights at the Rio for our March guys trip on Nov 9th. Reservation didn't have a resort fee tacked on to the total(I'm platinum). Three comped nights and 4th night for $50. Guess I just got under the wire. A $25 per night resort fee is going to affect my thinking about future stays at a CET property.
So are there ANY hotels on the Strip that currently have no resort fees?
Looks like I'll have to start staying at the Motel 6 now.Vegas just isn't customer friendly anymore.

Friend of mine got mad at CET and took his play to Trop in AC. He says the Trop treats him very well. CET treats us well. I can't complain about them.
Do what I did to a local casino after I blew $700 in less than a hour playing craps years ago. I asked for one lunch buffet and they told me that I hadn't played long enough to get a comp. This was a person that I used to work with. I made a scene. I told him to shove his card and I said I'd take my money to Vegas where they take care of me a lot better than they did. My next trip to Vegas, I went to the gift shop and bought a picture postcard. I wrote on the back, "Having a wonderful time in Vegas on the money I used to spend at your casino". About a month later, a different person that worked at that casino came up to me when I was working the crap table at my casino. He asked me if I really did that. I asked him what he was talking about. He said "Did you really send our casino a postcard from Vegas?" I told him that I sure did. He told me that one of the managers wanted me to come by and tell him why I was so pissed, but I just told him to tell him why I was mad and I really didn't want to come over.

Maybe that's what we all should do. Start sending these casinos post cards from different vacation spots telling them what I told my local casino. Getting a couple thousand cards a week might give them the hint that we're not very happy.
