Revel Casino Loses $21,000

"Hours after GardaWorld armored car services made a cash pickup at Revel on Aug. 6, the casino was notified that nearly $21,000 in currency was missing.
A review of surveillance video shows the truck leaving the Revel’s porte cochere with the bag on the rear driver’s side roof of the truck at 10:51 a.m. — about 20 minutes after the first bag was picked up, according to the report.
The money is still there when the truck makes a pickup at Resorts Atlantic City — about six minutes away, according to surveillance there, the report states.
The truck then leaves down Pennsylvania Avenue toward Route 40 — with the bag still on the truck’s roof.
It is not clear where or when the money fell off."

DonDiego expects that the cash has almost certainly been returned by a good Samaritan. After all it is New Jersey.

I really hate hearing this....Now I'm going to be following armored trucks around all day waiting for a repeat.

Indeed, DonDiego did just fall off a turnip truck. He is content to be unaware of the ways of city folk. They can be quite disagreeable.

Why poor old DonDiego remembers, just a few years back, . . . when teechur and he ventured into New York City. While strolling down a sidewalk near Times Square they came upon a tourist shop filled with all sorts of mementos and souvenirs, and trinkets and knick-knacks available for purchase so the visitor to that fine city could be reminded of it in later years.
And there, . . . hanging off an awning right above the sidewalk was a t-shirt emblazoned with the words: "F*** you, you f***ing f***", . . . ceptin' it didn't have any asterisks. As DonDiego pointed the garment out to teechur a young man walking by, apparently a native of that metropolis, laughed quietly at teechur and DonDiego's lack of city-fied sophistication.

DonDiego prefers rusticiy to such urbanity.
