Rim Job Advice Sought

A couple of years after moving into a new house (1996) my wife noticed water on the floor of the master bath. It was a slab foundation and the water wicked up into the cheap builder grade cabinets. Apparently, I never saw it because I never filled the sink and emptied it at once which my wife did.

I called the insurance company, USAA. They came and measured out from the outside wall, went into the garage, cut a hole in the drywall and discovered the builder didn't put a cover/plug in the drain clean out. USAA paid for the vinyl floor and cabinets to be replaced and then duked it out with the builder. I can't remember if I had to pay a deductible or not.

If there is mold, htere is a really good cleaner which I believe is called xxxgold. I can't remember the correct name but believe it is available at Home Depot.

you're screwed with insurance.... poor workmanship or some sorry excuse will be their reason for no $$$

You'll have better luck getting one of those old boys hanging around home depot to come over for the 'job'
