Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Circus To Shut Down

The hate spewing crazy "lovers and freedom fighters" of the world will stop at nothing to continue to force their "love" on the world. It is just disgusting and sad that children will not get to experience the wonder of the circus.
There are other circuses. Heck, maybe Circus Circus could buy some of Ringling Bros Animals, Equipment, and performers and really revive their Circus brand...Charge $20 for the show and parking. OR Let the elephants run loose in the Adventure Dome and it could become the African Adventure Dome. The possibilities are endless.
Years ago, I met a guy playing pool at a locals bar and he told me he was a juggler at Circus Circus.
He went on to work at Cirgue Soliel and then at the show in the Wynn. We'd email each other occasionally, and he would send out updates whenever his workplace or schedule changed. I haven't seen him in about eight years but he still sends out newsletters to his email list.
He currently is touring with a mostly black circus playing to mostly black crowds,
I think it's called UniverSoul or something. He's a third or fourth generation performer who met his wife at the circus, who also is multigenerational performers. I'm sure there kids will be, as well.
There are numerous circuses out there. It will be interesting to see if any of them can step up and claim Ringlings place.
News report that I heard this morning said that what ultimately has killed B&B was the elimination of the elephants. No elephants, no greatest show on earth. Attendance had been dwindling, but the elephants elimination spelled the end.

LOL, if this place is now the greatest show on earth, we all know who the clowns are!

I wouldn't mind seeing an end to some of the Le Cirque shows in Vegas.

Maybe you wouldn't feel that way if they added a few elephants.

Fremont Street
I used to work with an electrical engineer from Iran who was a former circus performer. He made a career change.

I won't miss the circus. Let the animals go live in a sanctuary.
I attended The Ringling Bros. circus maybe 20 years ago and 45 years ago. Both times were surprisingly fantastic.
I loved the circus and a few years ago after not having been in many years, barnums was in town and I wasn't doing anything that night and just went by myself. I hadn't went in several years and was surprised to find less animals and more cirque. I was a little sad. I love classic art and entertainment and think sharing that with children really influences their choices. Video games cannot compete with classic education. My 3 and 4 year old niece and nephew spent Christmas playing their classic board games all day long until we refused to play anymore. More importantly Children will mirror the behavior they witness. We play a lot of games. They knew how to sit down and play by themselves after being taught the rules once.

As for cirques, while I love them As well. They really need new ones and they are starting to be repetititive. My mom refused to go see toruk and I kind of agree.
