RIP - Doug Buffone

For the Chicago people on this board and football fans everywhere - Doug Buffone has passed and he will be missed. People in Chicago would tune in to listen to Doug Buffone and Ed O'Bradovich on the sports station WSCR for their post game analysis. Win or lose, it was always insightful and entertaining......in fact losses were often more entertaining.

On the field, his last interception was returned for a touchdown that sent the Bears to the playoffs when Doug could barely run. Off the field, there was Uncle Doug and the "Neanderthal Gene". He gave Bear fans so much so much joy on and off the field and he will be missed.

Doug Buffone

Sad day for Chicago fans.

Joy

Not a Chicagoan, but I remember Doug Buffone. Good guy. Just wanted to add a face to the name.
