I remember buying his book Helter Skelter and the great black and white photos in it. Leslie Van Houten went to my high school. When I was on the yearbook I went and looked her up in the past yearbooks. In her freshman year she was a homecoming princess and in almost every club. In her senior year there was only her senior picture. I also had one girlfriend whose older brother was friends with Steve Parent, the guy in the car who was killed at the Sharon Tate residence. Steve Parent had called her brother that night to go cruising with him.
