Rob Singer accepts the challenge.

I was under the impression that Rob uses his special plays when he's "stuck" money. For example, if he's down 2 grand and he is now playing DDB at the $5 level and gets dealt 2-2-5-5-7, he would keep the 2-2 and draw, hoping to get 4 '-2's. That would get him back his 2 grand, and if he gets the kicker, make him a 2 grand profit. That's the way I understand it.
Thank you Arcimedes!!! You are 100% correct that you don't tell anyone how to play but you will stand up against systems that are mathematical nonsense being pushed as a viable alternative. What's next? Will moneyLA start peddling a Martingale system as a winning strategy? It doesn't matter to me either how he or anyone else plays. For example, he can hold every A-10 suited with the argument that it will produce more Royals and that is fine with me. Just please don't push that idea down my throat as a wonderful new strategy.

I dont disagree that when you hold the full house you will get more hands. But how many times do you get a shot at quad aces? You know what Arc -- I think there are a lot of players who would like to take the shot at quad aces. Just about a week ago I broke up a full house and got lucky and hit the fourth ace and getting that handpay of $2000 felt a lot better than settling for a full house -- even at the $5 level which was $200. In fact, when we raised this before other board members also said they would hold just the aces. I guess they are stupid idiots too, right Arc??

No, others are not claiming it will generate a "big win". They simply say that's the way they want to play. Nothing wrong with that. The only problem is when you make claims you can't back up. So, this has nothing to do with other board members. You made a claim you can't support. That is all on you.

And about mentioning "single hands" ?? Well my friend, all video poker is played one hand at a time. What surprises me is that YOU did not commend me for playing the correct strategy?? Frankly, I wonder if I had just held the three 3s and gave myself an extra chance at picking up the quads and a $2,000 win.

Like I've said a thousand times before ... I don't care how you (or anyone else) plays. It's only when you try to justify your plays with nonsense logic that I get on your case.

You are a true believer in playing your perfect stategy and there is nothing wrong with that until you believe that everyone else who doesnt follow "perfect strategy" is wrong. What you fail to recognize is that others have a different utility for each hand they play and how they manage their money when they play. You are playing for the long term. Others do not recognize the long term and want to take their best shot. You have a bankroll that allows you to go through a grind of small wins so that you can play more hands-- you also have the time to do that. Others do not have the bankroll or the time -- OR THE PATIENCE -- to play the long term strategy that you adhere to. And what differeces Singer has only apply to the smallest percentage of overall hands played.

In my last outing at bonus I was dealt a full house with three aces only once in some 7 hours of play. So taking a shot at quad aces in one hand out of seven hours is not such a crime.

Nope, you can do whatever you want. Just quit trying to claim it "makes sense" or will lead to "big wins". Just play however you want and quit trying to frame your own personal strategy as something better.

Also, my IP address is Smithfield, Va. A long way from where Singer may be. Ask Anthony, he has my permission to give my location.

Somehow I don't envision Anthony taking the time to look up the IP address of Troll to determine if it is located near Singer. He has other remedies at his disposal....

It is this type of BS and misunderstanding that adds to the falsehoods and hysteria. If any of ever knew the truth about Singer's "system" you would realize much of it makes sense. Hot and cold machines has nothing to do with it. Neither do his theories about machines not being random. These are "side issues.". Frankly a lot of people play like Singer and don't even realize it. LOL.

As a Singer advocate (and you are), I'm trying to figure out why you claim you've never had a winning gaming year, and went over 80,000 hands this year without a royal (has that total topped 100k yet?) if his strategies have any merit whatsoever.

Feel free to follow his lead and dig a deeper hole when you get stuck. Casinos love that!

Hello. First, I would like to thank those of you who have visited my website to post on our Forum discussion about Mr. Singer. As you know, I first interviewed Mr. Singer about a year ago and we discussed in some detail both on camera and off camera his theory about Video Poker machines not being truly random. I have also presented Mr. Singer's so-called Special Plays on my website with his descriptions about how and when these controversial Special Plays are made.

There has been intent interest in Mr. Singer's claim that Video Poker machines and games are not random and in our discussion I challenged his belief. He also explained how he has used that belief to catch a winning trend, but to respond to some of the comments made here, he never did indicate how a cold or hot cycle alters his strategies for playing certain hands.

I invite you to review the interview with Mr. Singer on this page of my website and to review his Special Plays and his explanations. Please also note that Mr. Singer does reference the accepted correct holds for these video poker draws and the expected value of both his Special Plays and the expected value of the correct holds.

Thank you again and as they say in the casinos as they exchange our money for chips -- best of luck.
I thought the rules of this forum prohibited individuals from holding multiple accounts with multiple identities?

You seem to be saying something similar to what Money implied earlier....Singer's belief that the Video Poker Machines are not random and are programmed with secret cycles per secret regulations has no impact on his strategy....therefore it is not relevant to the discussion.

Maybe you should read that again...

Well, this will surprise you, but I don't follow Singer's strategy!!! However, I respect them. I play video poker "by the book" and I learned it following Bob Dancer and John Grochowski.

However, there are several things that Singer says that make perfect sense to me:

I love the idea that he sets a win goal. And damnt had I used his win goal of $2500 I would be a lot better off today. Arc questioned this when I mentioned it before. And I admit that on two occassions when I had hit quad aces with a kicker for $10K I went on later in those sessions to hit royals -- one was a progressive for 36K and one was the common, ordinary 20K kind. (lol)

I also follow his controversial idea in Triple Double Bonus of holding 3 aces and no kicker.

And now I am thinking about holding only the three aces when dealt a full house with three aces playing bonus.

I think Ive just had bad luck when it comes to my lack of Royals. So far this year I have played at least 87,459 hands of video poker (I used my tier score as if all of the hands were at the $5 level, but I have also played $1 and $2 and multi hand 25-cent games), and I have not had a royal yet. I only play by the accepted, traditional strategies on these hands -- Ive even broken up dealt flushes and straights and still have had no luck. My last royal was in early December of last year so you could add perhaps another several thousand hands or so to my total of this year. Nothing about Singer's strategies affect my draws for a royal.
Regarding the discussion about IP addresses: they mean nothing. Several companies including AOL assign the same IP to multiple users. Some smaller companies might have unique IP addresses, but the Internet is now too big.

In fact, it is unikely that any website can accurately measure its actual traffic because of the use of proxy servers. when you "read" a web page, you might be reading a web page on a proxy server or from a cache that may or may not be current. this is especially true if the site's server is in a foreign country and the Internet provider doesnt want to pay for a line to see the current content from that site on a server in a foreign country. AOL is notorious for this.
Maybe you'd have a lot more royals if he trained you how to pick the hot machines.
