Rob Singer accepts the challenge.

Dan I sure hope that you win so you can put that Jackass Rob in his place. I also have a pretty good idea who Bearsand Beets is but I will keep it to myself.
Hot Damn! Dan, you have some serious balls.

I love the "money where your mouth is" feel of this.

Please keep us posted and good luck.

Fed accused me recently of being Singer. So which is it Dope? Which one of us is he Fed?
If Singer holds true to form this bet will never happen. Singer always creates conditions that are unneeded but make it unlikely that anyone would accept. He's already started by asking $300K be put in escrow. I doubt he has that much money but he's betting that Dan would not want to do it.

Of course, it's an idiotic condition. His win goal is only $2500 for a typical session that probably last 8 hours or more on average. That means we're looking at a win of between $10-15K if he gets lucky and wins 5 straight sessions. Of course, he could hit a RF, but even that might come at a low denomination and only be worth $4K. So, something like $30K is far more reasonable.

This is typical Singer. He really hasn't accepted the challenge as Dan offered it. However, if Dan says "take it or leave it" then Singer will claim that Dan backed down when the reality is that Singer never intended to follow through in the first place. In fact, if Dan accepted this silly requirement Singer would probably also demand that no one watch him. He's done that before.

Of course BearsAndBeets could very well be Alan Mendleson himself, but there is nothing that really limits a loser like Singer to one fake personality, dope.

Couple of other observations...

1. Since Singer has always claimed his system "Beats bad paytables", you might as well do the whole contest at Belligio or Wynn. Why do part of it in a dump casino in Laughlin? You might as well be in a first class joint since the paytables don't really matter anyway.
2. What makes Singer think Anthony Curtis is going to want to hold $600,000?
Right on, all these "conditions" are there to get Dan to say at least one is not acceptable. At that point Singer claims Dan has backed down. That is Singer's approach to all these bets.

Come on, Robbie. For once act like you have a pair. Either accept Dan's challenge AS IS, or run away and hide like you always do.

But you need an honest observer to ensure no hanky panky. That is a logistical problem.

Alan Mendelson Writes:

"If the challenge or contest does take place, we will be there to videotape it and the results. "

I think the hardest part to confirm is the 500 hands per hour or really 15,000 total hands. Someone's going to have to have one of those clicker counters.

Singer started a new thread about this on Mendelson's website for anyone interested.

https://forum.alanbestbuys.com/showthread.php?285-quot-Fedomalley-quot-Says-He-Is-On!

I wish I could just post a hot link to it but I'm a bit technically challenged.

We're attempting to set out some detailed terms and conditions and other than a totally unrealistic escrow amount, I can't see where this should be a problem. This banter ended pretty late last night/this morning but the ball is in Rob's court to come back to me on. The proposed dates are August 10-12 although I would prefer a weekend so that there is no risk of having to delay it due to possible unanticipated work requirements which may arise and require me to be out of town. It's a bit difficult for me to plan anything on weekdays more than a month or so out.

Anyway, it's all on there if you're interested..

Dan
It is possible to put the whole thing on video if the casino agrees to allowing a camera or cameras. But if the casino says "no cameras" then "no cameras." Putting 30 hours of video of video poker play on the Internet is possible, but who is going to want to watch thirty hours of key slapping?
This wasn't my idea...it came from Alan Mendelson...."If the challenge or contest does take place, we will be there to videotape it and the results."

All I would ask is that I have myself or a designated representative there to look after my interests and an independent third party (Mendelson will suffice) to act as a potential referee.
