Rob Singer accepts the challenge.

I think that having to put up $300,000 is ridiculous. There can't possibly be that big of a swing that that much money has to be put up.

By the way, Rob asked me to post this challenge here, but I didn't get around to it. If loyd thinks it's me, take another guess.

Nice to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that he's out to lunch. It's a bluff and doesn't have anything to do with the issue at hand. Tell me where else he thinks he'll earn $10K/hour?

I don't believe that you originally posted this Bags....if you had I think you would simply use your normal screen name. In my mind, it's not really important as to who did.

IMO, there are four pretty simple issues to address and I laid them out to him on the other board. None of these deviate in any way from my original "challenge"; it's really just a matter of getting the details straight.

Dan

Singer is a coward, like others have said, this event wil never happen.
Of course I would have posted it under my name. I always have so why change now.

Now why would I think that? Actually I figured it was Mr. Singer himself trying to play mind games or tomdoug.

But anyway I am rooting for you Dan. Good luck if it happens.
I would like to offer to handle the $600,000 escrow account for a mere $9,000 combined. Consider this a charitable "special play" offer. What can I say? I am feeling charitable.

Singer has backed out in exactly the manner I predicted. He really never accepted the challenge as offered in the first place since he stated he required $300K in escrow. That was never part of the challenge and we all know it's completely ridiculous.

Once again Singer proves himself to be nothing but a big joke. Looks like thlf and tom (or is it doug)'s hero has made them look foolish as well.
This challenge would have been a smart advantage play for Dan and a stupid one for Singer, but it wouldn't have proved a thing, because the 30 hour sample size was so small.

Making some assumptions - 18,000 hands of NSU with Singer's return in the range of a horrible 98% return - Singer's EV would be an 1,800 coin loss but one standard deviation is almost double that. So Singer would still have had about a one in three chance of coming out positive.

FWIW, I believe you.

Just curious, where does Rob live?

He lives just outside Phoenix.

There may be a way to salvage this. Bet on whether Singer is Ahead or Behind after 15,000 hands. Singer belives he'll win 80% of the time. This should be easy money for him. Fed think's Singer will lose 2/3 of the time.....a fine bet if I ever heard one...So just bet your wads on that. Make the amount the most either player is prepared to lose (or win for that matter) and may the luckiest/bestest player win.
