Rush gets flushed in Indy

Not true. I watched The Stones in Indy in 1989.

Rush's music is complex. Constant meter changes, difficult rhythms and unique chord progressions. I'm a musician, and I appreciate that complexity. It challenges me as a listener, and as someone who can play that stuff.

That's what I love about all the old progressive rock. Most of those guys were classically trained and knew what the were doing musically. Rush was certainly one of the tops. I don't see that anymore. The newbies start as garage bands, self-taught and Sony or another big outfit sees dollars in their sound, which is exactly like the last big hits sound and there they go.

Limbaugh I couldn't care less about.

Not much! Most intelligent people have evolved beyond AM radio and have familiarized themselves with modern technology and media. Luckily for the rest, there's Rush Limbaugh.

The Rolling Stones did not sell out for their last concert in Indy. Mick Jagger reportedly held a grudge about it for a long time. As of today there are still seats available for the July 4th concert. I'm going. I dont want to hurt his feelings again - and its going to be a great show.

Umm, . . . all of it.

I quit using Rush in the early 70's. Made me dizzy, pass out, and left a really bad after taste in the back of my sinuses. Can still remember it. Wasn't worth it.
