Sanctuary cities??

I never even heard the term or anything like it even existed. Who in the hell's bright idea was this, and why in the world are they even allowed to exist? They are in direct conflict with a law that Clinton signed back in '96. Are there really 200 of these cities? So I guess the Obama has dircted that yet another law is to be disregarded concerning illegals ( and yes, they ar ILLEGAL IMGRANTS, not undocumented aliens, they broke the law and ar here, in fact, illegally).
That anyone could be deported not just once but multiple times and be allowed to walk scott free against the rquest of Immagration authorities is absolutely absurd. It's completely nonsensical things such as "sanctuary cities" thatactually exist in this country just reinforces the arguements that this country has tuly lost its' wayxand it seems to get more absurd by the day.

EDIT TO ADD: Oh yea, and for the WH to try and shift blame to the republicans and for the murder of the SF woman is not the most absurd thing here, but really close. Instead of trying to fix anything, blame, blame, blame someone else.
They have been around since 1979 & there are over 30 of them. Makes no sense.
Its pretty easy to explain. Our country benefits massively (economically) from having 15 million people work ugly jobs for cheap pay which they in turn spend in the economy....while getting no safety net entitlements. Cities understand removing these 15 million people from our population would send their collective municipalities into a recession almost overnight.

Thats why despite alot of tough talk for decades there has been no action to mass exodus these people...and in the unthinkable event that someone like Ted Cruz would become president we still would not remove these people. Because no economic advisor worth his weight in pesos would conclude removing 15 million consumers from the economy would reult in anything but an instant recession.

There are ways you can make the immigrant population safer to both themselves and natives. Many of them are in the Senate Bill...and republicnas largely agree with them. Its just difficult for them to admit it to the tea party crowd
There are over 20,000 illegals in California prisons, with over 2,000 of them there for homicides. What is the value of the people they killed? What is the value of the young lady who was killed this past weekend?

There have been over 100 homicides by illegals released by obama's amnesty. What is the value of their lives?

Pj & company like to pretend that all illegals are innocent, but they are not, which is why immigrants need to go thru the process

Just how would pjstroh have made 45-year-old Mexican-national Francisco Sanchez, with a record of 7 felonies in and 5 deportations from the United States, "safer" to 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle?

Perhaps if there weren't an extra 15 million people here illegally competing for ugly jobs for cheap pay, those ugly jobs would pay a lot more.....A living wage for ugly jobs vacated by illegal workers might even encourage many of 92 Million Americans who have left the workforce to return.

And as wages went up, more automation would take place...giving a boost to our fledgling robotics industry. And think what it would do for domestic lawnmower sales as Americans once again begin mowing their own lawns. It could be a real boon for America.
Most Liberals don't understand the supply and demand curve. Because of this, they don't understand how blue collar incomes would increase by removing 15 million illegals.

There's no need to speculate. In very recent hisotry, both Alabama and Arizone implemented your plan and proceeded to lose billions of dollars while farmers lost crops. Isn't it great to have real life examples?

Alabama has since been (quietly) revoking their immigration laws.

Maybe by having a record of his existence in the country...and a work permit...or lack thereof which would make him exiled. And certainly by having an immigrant community that is willing to call the cops on one of its scummier members whereas today they are frightened to interact with the police out of fear of being deported. Just two of many ways. No policy can erradicate all crime.

I'll let Jeb Bush explain it to you more thouroghly in the upcoming debate.

Since he already had 7 felonies and 5 deportations how would anything you just suggested have made a difference? ....Especially considering this took place in a Sanctuary city where the illegal immigrant community has no fear of deportation.

Here's a thought...make a person's first return after deportation a serious felony with a 10 year minimum sentence....and if we can save money by paying his home country to imprison him for 10 years all the better. If they try it again, it's life in prison. Here's another one...add ten years to any felony if you're here illegally.

If you're a felon in addition to being here illegally I'd rather deal with you after 1 felony or 1 deportation instead of waiting until you kill someone. I imagine Kathryn Steinle and her family would have preferred that too.
