Forky is wrong again. A sanctuary city is a city that chooses not to aid the federal govt in detaining illegals. So a sanctuary city is defying federal law. Obama's exec order on illegals has been placed on hold by a federal judge.

Really? You could name the federal law that sanctuary cities violate if you were honest and intelligent.

But you can't, and you aren't, and you aren't. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 does NOT require cities to detain illegals. And that's the law of the land.

Oh bullshit, the local sheriffs office can't defy a fed agency, I don't care what kind of spin you want to pull outta your ass forkie.

While you're actually answering questions(well, you aren't really), why is it then that the DOJ can come down so hard on states like AZ that actually try and enforce immigration law?

Really? So many examples to choose from....but just to pick one:

Every sheriff department in the state of Colorado has been defying the DEA since that state legalized pot....or as Jatki wouild call it - "spin forkie pulled out of his ass".

Man the super was pissed too but they kept doing it it, we didn't get it. He'd make 'em go clean it, but it didn't stop 'em. Go figure, there were porta pottys right on site.



You should be very careful in generalizing from "three Mexicans you knew who shit in a closet" to millions of Mexicans you have never met. Such over generalization can lead to misleading conclusions, such as:

I once new a white guy from West Virginia who was so dumb that he thought you should always split tens; who told his underage child to go ahead and gamble in LV; and who said an illegal immigrant started the Disneyland measles epidemic, eventhough he had not a "shred of evidence to prove it"! Damn, all those white guys from West Virginia are dumb.

I hate to use forkies "simple answers to stupid questions" shtick because it's pretty disrespectful(especially to a friend) ,but it's because the DOJ was told to not enforce the law, stand down so to speak.

I really thought it was pretty obvious. Simple Google and one of top results.

Was in San Fran last week & visited the Embarcadaro where this incident took place. In spite of this incident, not a cop in sight.
