Sandusky guilty on 45 of 48 counts

"I'm far angrier, however, at all the men (hundreds? thousands? tens of thousands?) in the Catholic church who systematically abused children and hid their brother's crimes from authorities. ".

While the Catholic Church has it's share of abusers, no word is ever mentioned of the thousands of abuse cases in the public schools of this country.

Sandusky is going to have tough time in prison

You and your ilk keep covering up the fact that "almost 10 percent of all students are victims of sexual misconduct—ranging from lewd comments to rape—by school staff"
So, apparently, you mix the two, because you can't even tell the difference. You can't tell the difference between normal sex between a young man and an older woman, and abnormal sex between a middle aged man and a small boy. And that's why you can't tell which one I'm talking about, and accuse me of talking about one, when I'm talking about the other. And so you are incapable of making an effective contribution to a discussion of this problem, because you are incapable of making the simplest moral distinction. You would rather just call them both "rape," and spin off on a tangent about "left-wing kool-aid."

So then how did you hear about it?

So not one person on "the right" or the "extreme right" has ever sexually abused a minor... is that what I'm hearing?

This is about a coach, not a politician or a teacher.
I wish they had caught him 30 years ago....

NC it does not matter that he is a registered Republican. Sexual abuse is not a left vs right issue, it's a crime.

He probably got it from the same place he gets most of his information. From the mouth-breathers on AM radio.

"So then how did you hear about it?"

Try Google; you will get over 1 million hits.

This is one from last week:

Schools Chancellor Dennis M. Walcott said Friday that the arrest of a third-grade teacher at a Harlem public school, the latest in a slate of school arrests involving sexual abuse charges, is yet another reason to push forward with state legislation that would grant chancellors the power to fire offenders.

Mr. Sosa is at least the 10th public school employee to be arrested this year on charges of sexual misconduct.

The hits are from the media in this country, which you claim isn't mentioning a word. If there is some massive, conspiratorial cover-up, why are there A MILLION HITS????
Whenever child abuse cases come up, the fist wise ass comment refers to Catholics, (see chilly's comments). I and others pointed out that child abusers are everywhere including the public schools. Others took offense to that fact
Chilcoot's post wasn't "wise ass." He apparently dislikes the Catholic Church and some of its priests BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY DO.

And, no, no one took offense when anyone pointed to pedophiles elsewhere. But like Hitler said, "The lie told most often becomes the truth."

Not even you think that the number of google hits proves anything. You claimed there were thousands - who told you that?
