The sane will prevail

If these nuts weren't so prevalent in downtown Vegas, my friends and I would stay downtown more often. Call it what you like, but many of us don't like the "freak show". I've always argued that these "performers" drive away downtown business, and the business owners and employees deserve consideration. Most Liberals on this site disagree.

The street performers give me more of a reason to stay downtown. They certainly don't dissuade me from staying downtown.

Oh, you pesky liberals! You must be part of the vast left-wing conspiracy to destroy America by keeping the boil man and his friends from visiting downtown.....

Street Performers cause a lot of talk among visitors. "Like OH I have to go see" There are some that really need run off (right off the two guys that are almost naked.) There are children that walk up and down the Fremont experience and the Officials need to run there sorry asses off. They hurt the rest that seem to be part of the party. There are a lot of them that are entertaining.

The downtown hotels and restaurants are asking for the removal of the street performers, and Liberals argue that these performers are good for business. You folks need a better grasp reality.
Having to wade thru the sewer that Fremont street has become to go from casino to casino is the biggest reason I spend little time downtown. I have no plans to include downtown in any of my future trips to Vegas for this very reason.
I don't mind the street performers. Many of them have real talents and are cool entertainment. The spray can painters, buskers, impressionists, etc., for example, lend an interesting touch. I do mind the so called "street performers" with no talent and present only for visual shock value, like the portly doughgirls with electrical tape pasties, the nekkid old dudes covered in strips of blue painter's tape, for example. They have no value and are simply unwanted nuisances imo. The costumed characters are tolerable if they have no aura of everpowering body stench. But I think their greatest entertainment is when there are, for example, 2 Minnie Mouses about to come to blows over who will occupy a certain corner.

Upholding the Constitution is paramount. We don't tread on the Constitution because some businesses don't like certain free speech.

Free speech is now only available two hours....IF you stand in your designated circle....I may try to sign up for my very own circle on my December trip.

These folks drive away business, and these business owners also have rights................much to the dismay of some.
