Say goodbye to Monte Carlo

Its being remodeled, renamed, and stuff

Enjoy MGM's new park while you can. Soon it will offer a view of construction cranes, red fences, and the ever present sound of a jackhammers hitting concrete. Weeeeee !

Funny how MGM has 450 million to remodel the Monte Carlo and 900 million to buy half of the Borgata, but they can't afford 350 million to build a new parking structure.

I've stayed at the Monte Carlo, too many times to count. I also had rights to go up to their lounge on the top floor. It was mostly during the 90s. The old girl does need a face lift.

I'm trying to figure out who got their palms greased, whereby they took out a beautiful fountain out front and then built Diablos. It almost looks like the building was dropped from above onto the sidewalk. I can't imagine many other cities allowing permits to build where they did.

The new name is too short. It should be We Charge to Park MGM.
The NoMad Las Vegas? Is that a joke?
No vacation appeal in that name.
Worst name since The Quad.
