[The] World Health Organization [WHO] announced Monday [26 October] that bacon, sausage and other processed meats cause cancer and that red meat probably does, too.

Red meat includes beef, veal, pork, lamb, mutton and goat. Processed meat includes hot dogs, ham, sausages, corned beef and beef jerky — or any other meat that has been cured, smoked, salted or otherwise changed to enhance flavor or improve preservation.

The little guy died inside of six months.

I agree. If it comes down to a choice between bacon and science, who the hell needs science?

I will need two large slices of toast, some tomatoes, some lettuce, and a little mayo please.

Oh, yeah I'm sure he did. But that is how they research stuff.

I'm already doomed. Our mom served bacon (and eggs) for breakfast all my growing up life, at least 3-4 days a week. It was worth it.

I generally eat a lot of egg whites, but I do sometimes love that runny yolk to dip your bacon, toast, or hash brown in.

I think pickles cause cancer. 99% of people who die of cancer have eaten a pickle and some point in their life
