I was in a pool last year whereby you had to choose various NFL teams at the beginning of the season. One of my teams was Detroit and needless to say they frustrated the hell out of me, because they are loaded with talent yet they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in several games.
My biggest frustration was with your superstar Megatron. He is all everything. That being said, there was a "must win" game for them on a Monday night and he either dropped or fumbled several passes that were right on the money. A friend was watching the game with me and we were almost wondering if Calvin was on the take for the game.
RM, I recall that game well. I put the full blame on him that day. It was crazy.
As far as snatching defeat from the jaws of victory you aren't kidding. I don't blame the refs, it is always the team that is at fault. If you can lose a game by a bad call then you have yourself to blame.
