Screaming buys?

I mean, seriously!? Marathon(MRO) is seven and a half bucks, Freeport Macmoran(FMX) about the same? It's across the board, crazy. At some point there has to be some sort of capitulation and when that happens I believe it'll be small and short but then watch out. There will be a huge short covering, who will stick around when a huge profit is already realized? At some point a spark will be lit, be it the Saudis "say" they're going to cut production, rig count declines worldwide will start showing up...who knows, but I don't think it will take much to ignite.

We'll see, but I sure think there's some extremely smoking buys going on right now. I sure as hell hope I'm correct and in ten years I'll be looking back and thinking how ridiculous oil prices were ten years ago. Just keep the divvys flowing
Speaking of divvys I bought RTN and MDP today for my IRA

MDP looks pretty solid. Consistent 4 1/2% return. Like to see anyone go that rote.

My oldest brother is so completely adverse to the whole "gambling"aspect" of the market. He is content to be getting 4% on some life policy, not bad. We'll see who wins ,he's 5 years older than me

DonDiego is pretty much still out of the stock market, but he keeps following it and looking for possible future investments, . . . maybe even near-future.

He likes Campion's selections, . . . especially MDP, . . . down over 5% earlier today, . . . which he'd not been been aware of or considered before. Along a similar line he has been watching DISCA, owner of Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, etc., . . . down about 2½% today.
DonDiego sees lots of growth in the ongoing unification of television/the internets/communications/computers and opines the content providers may do quite well.

All this assumes, of course, that the invasion and destruction of the United States is forestalled, so that American citizens can still amuse themselves with Discovery and Better Homes and Gardens. So poor old DonDiego continues to watch and wait.

DonDiego says "Good Luck !" to LVA-community investors.

Campion is humbled
I sold a comic book today for $25,000. I paid 11.5K for it three years ago. Bought ATT, Verizon and GM with the profits and will reinvest the rest back into a book or two. ATT is staying strong, I'd been hoping to get it on sale but it seems everyone is buying into Blue Chip dividend stocks.

DISCA has risen about 9% over the 5 trading days since DonDiego suggested it last Wednesday. If he had known that Mario Gabelli, . . . founder, chairman, and CEO of Gabelli Asset Management Company Investors, . . . was going to recommend it in the Barron's Annual Roundtable dated 25 January, DonDiego might've actually bought some !
