SCUBA diving in Lake Mead

Heading to LasVegas on Saturday and the group of guys I am going with love to Scuba Dive. I am trying to find information on diving in Lake Mead and can not find any diving tours. Has anyone done this or know who to contact. any information would be helpful.

Thats a great query. I think it would be cool to dive and see some of the old towns that covered up, unless the water was all silted over, then you couldn't see your hand in front of yor face.

I saw where a guy was diving in lake Mead and got sucked up by a firefighting helicopter and dumped in a tree in the middle of a brush fire....

Oh wait, that was on TV.

I went a few years ago in June. Might be a little cold this time of year.
There was some pretty cool dives though. A cavern dive with cool formations. A couple of wrecks. very clear water.

We went with a commercial outfit based at a marina at the lake. A search should bring them up if they're still around. Las Vegas Diving I think.
