Could you point to me in the constitution where corporations are entitled to free speech?

just give up some more of your rights and I will help I promise.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety..

Really is sad when either side tries to restrict FREE SPEECH...

Gotta question a person smarts when he wants any kind of speech outlawed...

We could remove hate speech on the public airwaves, fine candidates who use gun metaphors in their ads, and/or speeches, fully fund mental health and so forth, but I am sure all of these common sense measures will fail so we are probably left with extending secret service type protection to members of congress and federal judges at an astronomical cost as the first poster suggested.

Where in this post do you mention a Corp?

So you'd be censoring newpapers? Blogs that accept advertising? Films and television? No thanks - I'd prefer the violent political rhetoric to your solution.

I'd like to think our Constitution can survive the haters who target gunsights at their political opponents, who advise their supporters to "reload," and who talk about using "Second Amendment" rememdies to remedy the results at the ballot box.

The first post was a thumbnail sketch not a comprehensive guide as to how something should be done. I think you have to be careful when it comes to placing restrictions on the 1st amendment. You might note I made several other recommendations. But like I said common sense will not prevail and we will end up extending secret service like protection to every member of congress, and every federal judge plus their families at an enormous cost. Likewise all State Governments will have to fund the secret service like protection of their elected officials.

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Barack Obama 6/13/2008

Would you fine him?

Ban them there violent video games and that damn rock and roll devil music.

Violent wackos are going to cause problems now and then. Don't take away my rights with your nanny government.
You’re taking everything I said out of the context in which I intended it to be taken, and prehaps that is my falut for my choice of wording. In any event it seems rather pointless to argue with you. I love your trip reports, but let’s just say we disagree on this issue.
